🔴 Our Kids Can’t Wait. Join Us.

As PAC President, I’m inviting all parents, families, and community members to stand together at the upcoming Surrey Rally for Public Education.

Why? Because our classrooms are bursting at the seams. Kids are learning in portables, schools are under-resourced, and teachers are stretched beyond capacity.

This crisis isn’t just about growing numbers—it’s about failed leadership at every level. While billions are being sent overseas and poured into broken systems here at home, the foundational pillar of our future—our children’s education—remains underfunded and neglected.

The provincial government has had every opportunity to advocate for more from the federal government. Instead, they’ve run up debt and offered weak excuses while ignoring the reality faced by BC families every day.

It’s time for real leadership. It’s time to demand solutions. And it’s time for all political parties—left, right, and center—to stop playing games with our kids’ future.

We need classrooms, not more portables. We need action, not blame.

Let’s send a clear message together: Our children deserve better—and they can’t wait.

Did you know?

While we legally have to have a 'PAC' Committee in order for our school to receive BC gaming monies - and then distribute those monies to the clubs, sports teams, grad, etc - that is all the 'work' that our PAC has to do from a money perspective. Pretty easy.

Some of the clubs, sports team, and the grad then also do their own fundraising activities - but we do not have to fundraise. We just spend the money. :)

Our 'meetings' are primarily for parent and student education. The school arranges some fantastic speakers throughout the year for these sessions. The sessions also give our parents and students a great opportunity to provide feedback to our admin team.

So - that means that the most important ‘work’ of our PAC Committee is to make sure as many of our families have access to those sessions as possible!
