FOPCA is pleased to have organized another triumphant Pakistan Independence Day celebration.

We have held numerous Pakistan Day festivities throughout the years, and each year our sponsors and guests have warmed our hearts with their steadfast support. Every year, the FOPCA team is happy and excited to bring the community together to celebrate our heritage, regardless of all the time, effort, dedication, preparation, and work needed for such an event.
As always, we sincerely appreciate the generosity of our sponsors, who play a crucial role in the success of our events. The community's unity and the participation of representatives from other communities in our celebration of Pakistan fill us with great pleasure. We hope to see many more people in the future since it’s always wonderful to see both old and new faces.

Prominent guests, including Pakistan's Consul General Shahzad Hussain, Members of Parliament Sukh Dhaliwal and Gurbux Saini, Minister Jagrup Brar, MLA Amna Shah, and MLA Garry Begg, as well as council Members Mike Bose and Linda Anis, we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to attend, and we thank you all for coming.

The event began with a video of the national anthems of Canada and Pakistan, followed by the reading of the Holy Quran by Abdul Rasool Salis and Nasheed Sharif by Saad Salis.

Educating our children about Pakistan is one of FOPCA's primary goals, and there's no better way to accomplish that than by involving them in the event. Our children took the stage to perform Dil Dil Pakistan under the direction of Ms. Sarmah. Brother Nusrat Hussain, the FOPCA's founding member and chairman, gave us an amazing speech afterwards, followed by Shahzad Hussain, the Pakistani consul general, MLA Amna Shah, Gary Begg, and Jagrup Brar.
Together with the band, Jamal Raja, the show's headliner, gave an amazing performance, and the audience moved to his catchy vocals.

FOPCA would like to express its gratitude to everyone who participated in our event. We are very grateful to everyone who came and helped make the event so special for us, whether you were a volunteer, director, sponsor, politician, performer, or attendee.

We especially want to thank Brother Amir Khan of Speedo Copy and Print for all of the printing work, and Iqra Khan Photography for taking such lovely photos. We are grateful to our media partners, Media Waves, Sohni Dharti Pakistan, Miracle Newspaper, Connect FM, Swift Radio 1200 AM, and CMMC.
