A winter storm is brewing ❄️ With oncoming weather this weekend, power outages can happen quickly. Here’s how to prepare and keep your buns safe and cozy:

• Bring rabbits indoors: If your rabbit is housed outside, please bring them inside where they can stay warm, safe, and protected from the elements.

• Warmth first: Move rabbits to the warmest room, block drafts, and add extra fleece or blankets (no loose threads).

• Stock the basics: Have plenty of hay, pellets, fresh water, and any medications on hand.

• Water matters: Water bottles can freeze—use heavy bowls and refresh often.

• Safe light & heat: Use battery lanterns or flashlights instead of candles. If using heat packs, wrap well and never place directly against your rabbit.

• Keep it calm: Stick to normal routines as much as possible and keep noise and stress low.
