June plans for the DEN!
A few things to note:
•Grade 6 students (going into Grade 7 September 2026) are welcome to attend ALL events from here on out!
•Registration for the FREE Swim & Pizza Party closes June 5th.
•We have sign up sheets at The DEN for youth that would like to be part of our Rodeo Parade. As well as a sheet for Youth Volunteers for the Car show June 28th.
•If you have the means to donate to the DEN now is the perfect time! Every dollar makes a difference and helps us continue offering programs to all youth in our community, regardless of their financial situation. Rogers Birdie for kids meets all donations up to 50%! A couple reminders for upcoming events!
Friday night at the DEN we will be having ice cream treats, tie dye and painting. Please bring a light or white coloured item to tie dye.
Don't forget to sign up for the FREE swim that a generous member of the community has donated to the youth of Sundre and Area.

CHANGE OF PLANS!
We are watching the forecast and it looks like rain on Friday....Rather than cancel last minute we are changing the plan today!
We will be spending the evening at The DEN SYC. We can Paint, hangout, Tie Dye and enjoy ice cream treats here!
Open to Grades 7-12, 6-9pm. Bring white or light coloured items to tie dye!

Unfortunately we are cancelling our Splat Attack adventure for next Friday May 22, due to mechanical difficulties of our transportation. We will look at rebooking this trip again in the fall! Have no fear though! We still have something for our crew to do. We will be hosting a movie night 6-9pm at the DEN!

DEN CREW!! This FREE program is jam packed with valuable information and tools! We hope that you are able to join us in Becoming a Community Helper!
Registration is required.

In every community, there are people who others naturally turn to for support. The Community Helpers Program identifies these helpers and offers training to strengthen their natural abilities. In this 3-hour session, Helpers will be learn about the ethics of helping, helping as a process, mental health common language, responding in a crisis and self care after helping.

This session is just a preview of what the Community Helpers Program has to offer. Keep an eye out for other sessions covering topics such as: effective communication, coping with stress, healthy relationships, being an ally, boundaries, mental health & su***de awareness, grief and loss, and more!

WE ARE OPEN! The construction has made getting here a bit of an adventure but yes we will be open as scheduled after school!
You have 2 routes that can be taken from the school:
1. Continue towards the DEN as you normally would, cross the street after Bargain Browzer so you are walking on the opposite side of the road from the DEN. You can then cross back at the lights and use the small sidewalk they have left to make your way back to the DEN doors.
2. Continue towards the DEN as you normally would, once you have crossed the street after the bridge follow the sidewalk towards the ranger station and fire hall. After the firehall you can make your way down the alley which will lead you right to our doors! *Parents you can access parking using this route as well.
