The Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation Youth Program is excited to invite youth anglers and families to our preseason Tackle Yard Sale & Meet-and-Greet evening!
Whether you’re:
✅Looking to buy/trade fishing tackle
✅New to tournament fishing
✅Joining our Virtual Club
Or simply wanting to meet other fishing families…
…this is a great opportunity to connect before the season begins!

On behalf of the Ontario Junior Bass Nation, we extend our deepest condolences to Stephen Barrett and his family on the passing of his father George.

For many within the OBN community—George and his late wife Gloria were foundational figures in our early youth development efforts through what was then known as the Casting Kids program. Their commitment helped lay the groundwork for what would eventually become today’s OBN Junior program.

George’s legacy lives on through the many adults who first discovered competitive angling as youth, and through the new generation of young anglers who continue to be introduced to the sport because of the foundation he helped build. His partnership with Steve, both in life and in service to the angling community, was a testament to dedication, mentorship, and shared passion.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Steve and the entire Barrett family during this time of loss.

May his soul rest in peace.
