🏗️ Walls are going up!

Take a look at the latest progress on the Prince County Innovation and Learning Centre! Construction is moving at full speed, and crews are hard at work to get the entire structure fully enclosed before the winter weather arrives. ❄️

Step by step, this future hub for healthcare training, housing, childcare, and regional healthcare support is taking shape right next to PCH. We are so proud to see this vital space coming to life for our community. 🩺💙

What will the facility provide?

• Housing space for UPEI Faculty of Medicine’s Residency Program and healthcare professionals to live and learn – helping with long-term recruitment to PCH
• Daycare space for PCH staff, other local healthcare workers, and the community – to help with recruitment and retention
• Simulation training space for UPEI medical learners, PCH staff and community users like emergency personnel (E.g. Police Services, Fire Department, EMS)

A huge shoutout to Dalmac - Print, Signs, Cresting , one of our outstanding presenting sponsors for the 19th Annual Women’s Golf Classic! Their long-time support has directly made a huge difference to the success of this event, year after year. 💚⛳

Dalmac’s partnership for the Women’s Golf Classic has directly impacted the care of patients from across Prince Edward Island. This year, the 80 golfers who took to Red Sands Golf Course helped us raise over $30,000 to fund a vital Ultra Low Temperature Freezer for the PCH Laboratory! ❄️

Thank you to everyone from Dalmac who came out to support our hospital and show what true community spirit is all about!

💚 We want to extend a massive thank you to MDS Coating Technologies for increasing the impact of the 18th annual Grass Roots and Cowboy Boots by donating the Jeep they won at the event back to the PCH Foundation! 💙

By gifting back this Jeep, which was so generously donated by Summerside Chrysler Dodge, MDS Coating is supporting the greatest medical equipment needs at Prince County Hospital, keeping vital tools here at PCH to care for your family, friends, and neighbours. Community leaders stepping up for Island healthcare is what the spirit of Grass Roots and Cowboy Boots is all about! 🤠

MDS Coating commented, “The PCH Foundation does extraordinary work in support of our hospital and community. Our MDS team, extended families, and friends all benefit greatly from the vital care it helps make possible.
