Lions Shannon (left) and Randy Johnston recently stopped by the Prince County Hospital Foundation office to deliver a $1,000 donation from the Hunter River Lions Club, and they had a very special person ready to receive it! 💚💙

Their daughter, Olivia, a Licensed Practical Nurse at the hospital, proudly accepted the cheque on our behalf.

This generous gift goes towards our $3.2 million 2026 Vital Signs Greatest Needs Appeal, funding essential, life-sustaining medical equipment across the entire hospital to serve your family, friends, and neighbours.

🏥When you support the PCH Foundation, you ensure that PCH healthcare teams have the tools needed to provide the best care, close to home. Want to join in and make an impact? You can learn more or donate today at pchcare.com.

What an incredible conclusion to a roaring season of community support from the St. Eleanors Lions Club! 🦁💚

Following a busy spring of highly successful fundraising projects, including their poker tournament, pancake breakfast, and basket draws, the club has presented a $15,000 cheque to Prince County Hospital Foundation.

💙 Their incredible efforts were capped off by King Lion Robbie Burt’s monumental 100-mile (167-kilometre) walk for PCH! 🏃

A big thank you to the St. Eleanors Lions Club and everyone who supported their efforts. You ensure our medical teams have the resources needed to provide you and your loved ones with the best possible care right here at home.

📸 Pictured from left are St. Eleanors Lions Club members Jack Praught, Anne Bernard, Robbie Burt, and George Lecky presenting the $15,000 cheque to Bevan Woodacre, PCH Foundation. The gift is part of a pledge the group made to support the purchase of specialized ultrasound probes needed in the 2026 Vital Signs appeal.

If this amazing effort inspired you to organize your own community fundraiser, we’d love to help! Visit pchcare.com to learn more.

When it comes to providing the best care for our patients, high-quality training makes all the difference.

To ensure our teams can practice life-saving care in a safe, controlled environment, we need your help to fund new simulation manikins as part of our $3.2 million 2026 Vital Signs appeal. This year, we want to add an ICU manikin and a specialized “Preemie” manikin for scenarios with premature infants.

These advanced training devices will:
• Simulate vital signs, breathing and intubations.
• Give nurses, doctors, staff, respiratory therapists, and other emergency care professionals hands-on emergency experience.
• Prepare healthcare professionals for difficult medical scenarios.

Let’s make sure our PCH teams have the tools they need to care for our patients in the most critical moments.

Help us bring these vital pieces of equipment home. Donate today by clicking here: https://pchcare.com/donate/.

Or call us at 902-432-2547
Or visit the PCH Foundation office in the hospital lobby!

A massive thank you to our amazing friends at Source for Sports Summerside for stepping up for health care once again this spring! 💚

This year, owner Dwayne McNeill’s son, Sid, pictured right, did the honours of presenting an incredible $1,626 donation to the Prince County Hospital Foundation. Accepting this wonderful gift on behalf of the Foundation was board member JP Desrosiers.

💰 These funds were raised through their recent Toonie Footwear Sale, along with a Health PEI staff sale.

Dwayne and his dedicated team have given back year after year, raising thousands of dollars to fund vital medical equipment at PCH. We are incredibly grateful for their deep commitment to our hospital and patients. 👏
