NeighbourLink Summerland

NeighbourLink Summerland Neighbours Helping Neighbours We are a network of local volunteers who work together to help Summerlanders in need.

Although we will help anyone in need, the largest group of people we serve are seniors. We do this by utilizing our volunteers to drive them to medical appointments, we provide a free monthly lunch to encourage new friendships and connections, we host a Christmas Match-Up Program, we offer PRIME kits to all Summerland residents (Personal Records In Medical Emergency), and we run the Christmas Seni

or Care Packages Program, among other community programs and outreach efforts. Thanks to generous business and individual donations, and community grants, our services are always free and given without expectation.

Returning home: by Interior Health.

Returning home after an evacuation can be a relief. Depending on how long you've been gone, and the condition of your home, you may need to follow precautions.

Please note that NeighbourLink is still closed as our volunteers, administrator and board make their way home. We are working to return as quickly as possible and look forward to being with you all soon 💗

As our community begins the journey of returning home after the wildfire evacuation, NeighbourLink is getting ready to provide support where it's needed most.

We want to understand the needs of our clients, friends, and neighbours. What challenges are you facing, and what kind of assistance would be most helpful to you when you get back home?

Due to the forest fire and evacuation, NeighbourLink services are suspended until further notice. Stay safe everyone!
