Two adventure underdogs, one unforgettable adventure! 🐾❤️
Jet and Chloe had so much fun being part of Canada’s Top Adventure Dog contest!
A huge thank you to FRAPS and the other contest sponsors for making this such a fun experience, and to everyone who cheered, shared and voted for our two adventurers!

“Now that voting is over, Jet and Chloe are getting back to adventures of a different kind — bringing comfort, connection and smiles as Paws and Boots for Good therapy dogs. ❤️”

The winner hasn’t been announced yet, but as far as we’re concerned, these two are already winners! 🐾

As we wrap up interviews with our next group of youth trainers, we’re taking a moment to celebrate some of last year’s incredible youth-and-dog teams. 🐾❤️

Say hello to Avery and Kurt, Julia and Koda, Katie and Max, and Viola and Oreo. From reading Dr. Seuss to a dog on the floor, to running the tunnel and platform at our showcase, these teams showed us the power of youth and dogs learning side by side.

We’re excited to see everything this year’s teams will achieve!

A BIG thank you to Nicole and Max at Bayview Beach Pizza! Bayview Beach Pizza
🍕🍿🐾
They recently turned popcorn into something pretty special — donating the proceeds from their Community Movie Night popcorn sales to Paws and Boots for Good!
We hadn’t even met Nicole and Max before, but they had heard about the work we do and decided to support it. 💛
We love seeing local businesses finding their own ways to do good in their community.
If you’re in Innisfil, stop by Bayview Beach Pizza and help us say thank you! 🐾🍕A shout-out to GILFORD LOCAL EATERY for helping bring the community together! 🎬

🏕️ Every adventure needs a trusted basecamp buddy. 🐾
This week, Jet is part of the Basecamp Buddies challenge in Canada’s Next Top Adventure Dog. We’re celebrating the quieter side of getting outside, when the day slows down, everyone settles in and there’s finally time to relax and just be together. 💙💚
If you’ve got a minute, we’d love your help cheering Jet on. Head over to his voting page and show him some love:

As we continue interviews with our next group of youth trainers, we're looking back at some of the amazing youth-and-dog teams from last year. 🐾❤️

Meet Kiran and Shelby — one of the teams who helped show us just how much can happen when youth and dogs learn together.
We can't wait to see what this year's teams will accomplish!

Does your dog have what it takes to become a future therapy dog?

We’re currently screening calm, people-loving, confident dogs for our Paws & Boots for Good program. Dogs who pass the screening get paired one-on-one with a local youth (ages 13–29), who trains them, building toward the goal of becoming a certified therapy dog.
It’s socialization, mental stimulation, and a job with real purpose for your dog, plus confidence-building for the youth who trains them. Win-win for the whole community.

📍 Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 4:00–5:30 p.m. at Donald Hendry Hall, Mimico Presbyterian Church

He’s a little upset about the timing. But don’t count him out, because Jet has BIG dreams! 💭

Watch to the end for his most ambitious adventure yet.

🐾 Have a dog with a big heart and an even bigger sense of calm?

Our Youth Trainers are looking for family dogs to train, not their own, and every session builds something real: new experiences for the dog, new confidence for the trainer, and a small ripple of good that reaches a lot further than the two of them. No experience needed.

No dog? No problem, we will match youth with screened dogs.
