Happy Canada Day, Strathroy-Caradoc! 🍁
Yes — we celebrated a day early. But if last night was the "almost," we're not sure the real thing could top it.
The heat did not care that it was almost Canada Day. You showed up anyway — blankets down early, patient in every line, dancing after dark. That's this town for you.
Randy Gray opened the field. Loaded Dice and Copper Sky kept it moving. Gravity J***y closed it out loud. Then Pixel Sky Animations lit up the sky — a drone show that stopped the whole crowd mid-sentence, followed by a fireworks finale that might be our best yet. 🎆
Nine kitchens fed this entire town without slowing down once — plus every maker and vendor who set up a table in the market. You fed us, cooled us down, and kept the lines moving in that heat. Thank you.
None of this happens without the businesses who back this night before a single tent goes up — the full sponsor honour roll is in the comments below. Go say thanks.
To every volunteer who worked in that heat, every band, every vendor, every sponsor, and every neighbour who came out and made it feel like the whole town showed up for each other — thank you. Truly.
Building community. Celebrating Canada. See you next year.
