Dear Strathroy,

On behalf of the Strathroy Hometown Festival Committee, we would like to thank you for your continued support and commitment to making our festival a success. Your partnership plays an important role in bringing this community event to life each year.

After careful consideration, we want to inform you of an important change for the 2027 festival. The Strathroy Hometown Festival will be moving from its traditional June weekend to July 23, 24, and 25, 2027.

This decision was not made lightly. Our midway provider has advised us that they are no longer able to supply the quality and number of rides we believe our community deserves during the June weekend. Moving the festival to July will allow us to secure a stronger midway experience and continue providing the high-quality event that our residents and visitors have come to expect.

We sincerely hope you will continue to be part of the Strathroy Hometown Festival as we embark on this exciting new chapter. We value the relationships we have built with each of you and look forward to creating another outstanding festival together.

Every year I make a post following the Hometown Festival with a picture of the committee and a huge thank you to them.

This year, we were too busy to get a picture!

The 2026 festival was organized, executed and staffed by five key volunteers this year.

❓ FESTIVAL FAQ ❓

Here are a few important things to know before heading to the Strathroy Hometown Festival this weekend:

🎡 Online midway tickets must be exchanged for a hard-copy pass at the Committee Tent beside the Stage/Beer Garden Gate.

🎟️ $25 Ride-All-Day Passes will be available Friday from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM at the Committee Booth in Alexandra Park. After 3:00 PM, pre-sale pricing ends.

🎠 We are still awaiting the final confirmed midway ride list from our provider and hope to share it Friday morning as soon as it becomes available.

⏰ Please note the Committee Tent will be closed approximately 5:30 PM–6:30 PM on Friday during Opening Ceremonies.(time changed to reflect 6pm opening ceremony!)

🎶 Concert tickets will still be available at the gate on Friday and Saturday nights (cash only).

As a reminder, the Strathroy Hometown Festival is organized by a small team of five volunteers who work hard to bring this event to our community. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and support.
