✅Preseason will be throughout March and the start of April with floortimes being on the weekends. The schedule is currently being worked on and will be posted ASAP.

Thank-you for being patient with us as we finalize the details for our upcoming evaluations. Evaluations will be held on February 21st and February 28th in the main building at the Calgary Soccer Center. Floor time details are below and can also be found on our Master Calendar on our website:

🥍Session 1- Saturday February 21st
U9 - 10:00am - 11:00am - North Floor
U11 - 11:00am - 12:00pm - North Floor
U13 - 12:00pm - 1:30pm - North Floor
U15 - 1:30pm - 3:00pm - North Floor
U17 - 3:00pm - 4:00pm - North Floor

🥍Session 2- Saturday February 28th
U9 - 9:00am - 10:00am - East Floor
U11 - 10:00am - 11:00am - East Floor
U13 - 11:00am - 12:00pm - East Floor
U15 - 12:00pm - 1:30pm - East Floor
U17 - 11:30am - 1:00pm - North Floor

❗Please note take note of our evaluation policy. Once again, our evaluations will be evaluated by a third-party evaluator. Please feel free to review our policy on our website.
Here are a few other housekeeping items to keep in mind:

👍Full equipment will be required for evaluations.
👍Please be ready 15 minutes prior to your scheduled floor time.
👍All athletes must check in at our Venom table. You will be assigned a pinnie with a designated color and number.
👍Attendance to both evaluation days is recommended. We understand there are overlapping sports. In this case, we ask that a minimum of 1 evaluation is attended.
👍All parents for U9-U11 can assist players with getting equipment on, but our new evaluation no-spectator section to our policy must be respected.
👍All parents U13 + are asked to remain upstairs away from viewership areas as per our new policy. If a player needs assistance, coaches/club representatives can help direct the athlete.
👍Please utilize the dressing rooms provided to us and avoid getting dressed in the hallway. It is Calgary Soccer Centers policy to keep walkways clear and move bags out of the way when on the floor.

Our club is run by 9 dedicated volunteers who give thousands of hours each year to keep everything running smoothly — from organizing seasons and schedules to growing the game and building a strong community for our families.

This work happens outside of their regular jobs and family lives, making their time incredibly valuable. We kindly ask all members to be mindful and respectful of our volunteers’ time, communication, and efforts.

We are incredibly proud of the people who step up to serve our club, and we ask that all interactions with board members and volunteers remain respectful.
Disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.

🥍 Come out and TRY IT! This is a great opportunity to try the fastest game on 2 feet!

Our last Try It session is tomorrow February 5 at 5:00pm-6:00pm at Strathmore Motor Products Centre.

No registration required! In lieu of drop in fee, we ask that a perishable food item be brought.

Sticks will be provided. Helmet is REQUIRED to be on the floor.

🥍The schedule will depend on the number of teams in each division and floor availability. This process will be completed and communicated out to membership once teams are formed. You can expect at least 1 game & practice per week

Our Venom Store is now LIVE!

🥍This year we have partnered with Rival Sportswear to outfit us with our Venom apparel. We are excited about this new partnership and confident in the products we have available.

💛🖤❤We also have some exciting additions to the store. This year Strathmore Venom Lacrosse is celebrating 20 years! We have worked with Rival to create some custom one-of-a-kind apparel items to celebrate this milestone, including a special 20th Anniversary jersey. This 20th Anniversary jersey honors the coaches, volunteers, athletes and families who have helped grow the game and our club over the last two decades. It represents where we've been, who we are, and where we're headed next.
