1st Strathmore Scouts - Alberta Serving the Strathmore community and enabling our youth to develop in a safe environment through fun, challenging outdoor programs

For our Core programs, youth are divided into five age categories called sections. Each section is part of a group (there are more than 225 Chinook Council Scouting groups located in southern Alberta) and each group falls within one of our 12 service areas. The Chinook Council is comprised of representatives from each area. The Core Scouting programs typically run from January to December, breaking for summer.

What a wonderful evening with our 1st Strathmore Beaver Colony! 🦫

Our Beavers (and new Scouters) celebrated their investiture, welcoming our newest members into the Scouting family! It was a special moment as we came together to recognize our youth and their growing Scouting journey. After the ceremony, we had some time for a little extra fun, exploring and playing in the sandy area by the pond.

We’re so proud of our Colony and can’t wait to see all the adventures, friendships, and discoveries this Scouting year will bring!

Welcome to the Colony, Beavers! 🦫⚜️
