🚗 Volunteer Drivers Needed! 📦
The Wheatland County Food Bank is currently seeking dedicated Volunteer Drivers to help support our community.

What you’ll do:
• Complete scheduled donation pick-ups each morning
• Food Drive pick-ups
• Pick up in Calgary once/month

What we’re looking for:
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
• Reliability and a heart for helping others

Time Commitment:
•Drivers are on a rotating schedule every 4 weeks
This is a great way to make a meaningful impact in our community, one delivery at a time. 💛

🚒🔥 HERE WE GO AGAIN, STRATHMORE! 🔥🚒

Our amazing first responders are teaming up once again to support the Wheatland Food Bank — and for THREE years in a row, this community has broken donation records!

Last year you donated 5,456 lbs of food.
Can we beat that this year? We think YES. 💪

Watch for the bags, fill them up, and let’s keep the streak alive! Every little bit helps so many in our community!!

It's that time of year again, folks! The Strathmore Fire Department, joined by members from RCMP, FCSS, Operations, Wheatland EMS, and Municipal Enforcement, will be taking part in our annual food drive for Wheatland Food Bank.

This year's food drive runs from February 26th to March 6th. If you see people driving around and dropping off bags, that's us! We'll be delivering bags to select neighborhoods and picking them up on March 6th.

If you didn't get a bag but want to contribute, give us a call at 403-934-3022. Items can also be dropped off at the firehall any day between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

For the last three years, this community has broken it's own record for amount of food donated to the Wheatland Food Bank. Last year, you helped bring in 5,456.15 pounds worth of donations.

Let's keep that streak going, eh?

📦 A Big Thank You to Food Banks Canada and the Capacity Boost Grant! 🙌

Thanks to your incredible support, Wheatland County Food Bank was able to purchase a WAV60 for our warehouse! This piece of equipment will greatly enhance safety for our volunteers and expand our storage capacity, allowing us to serve our community even more efficiently.
