Goodmorning,
Last night, late into the night (9:55 PM), we made it into Little Bow Provincial Park for Day 5 of the One Goal, Many Nations Relay for Recovery.
By the time we got in, everyone was exhausted, hungry, sore, tired, and ready to finally rest, but we did it. We made it happen.
This whole journey has been a wild ride. A lot of ups, a lot of setbacks, and a lot of moments where we had to figure things out on the fly, but through all of it, the spirit of this relay was never broken.
As we head into this final day, ending where this journey began in Siksika Nation, we want to thank everybody who helped us get here. To the people who joined us along the way, brought care packages, donated financially, checked in on us, reshared our posts, and sent words of encouragement to these runners, thank you. You have no idea how much these runners felt that support throughout this journey.
And to the runners themselves, thank you. You made the choice to be here. Some days were harder than others, but every single one of you kept going. Different journeys brought you here, but together you became something powerful.
No matter what happens today, nobody can take away what you’ve already accomplished.
Today, we finish this journey together, back where it all began.
One Goal. Many Nations
