If someone has a skill you'd like to learn or can provide a service you'd like - let them know! Stratford Barter Network was created to connect people of the Stratford area who want to trade a service, skill, product or knowledge base for another. We hope to build a community of active participants trading goods and services as a means to reconnect with neighbours and make positive lifestyle advan
ces. Stratford Barter Network will also hold swaps/sharing events to trade gently used clothing, share music or to share knowledge on one particular subject (knitting or bread making). Services may be creative (photography, sewing), professional (accounting, massage therapy), domestic (babysitting, handyman). Goods may be garden/farm produce, used household items or art. Lessons in your skill are also great barter items! It is the responsibility of the individuals participating in a trade to discuss and agree upon the terms for each trade. So maybe you are a starving artist who needs your taxes done. Or an accountant interested in learning to make bread from scratch. Or a bread maker with a weakness for oil paintings.
