We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!! What a wonderful evening and it was thanks to everyone who came out to help us celebrate the new playground. Thank you to all of our special guests who made time out of their busy schedule to show your support. We hope all families enjoyed the evening. There certainly was a great sense of community seeing so many people in attendance.

I think it’s safe to say that the children approve, and were enjoying the new play space. You could see it in their smiles and hear it through the laughter. This is what we had envisioned over one year ago when we set out to replace the old wooden playground structure. A place for everyone to enjoy. Mission accomplished!

Let’s all give thanks to Freson Bros. For not only supplying the burgers and hot dogs but also for cooking them and serving with a smile. You ladies did a fantastic job!! Thank you for your generosity and support❤️.

Thank you to the Tri-leisure Centre for coming out and playing games with the kiddos. They all loved the tasks you gave them to go and do on the playground, and really enjoyed the freezies they were awarded once their task was completed!! You both did an amazing job, thank you for coming out for the evening.

Thank you to the three ladies from Par-T-Perfect Edmonton , for set up of the bouncy castles, for having painted many many faces and for all the balloons that were made! You are all amazing artist and we’re pleasure to have join and create some the fun. All the children loved it!!

Thank you to Canadian Recreation Solutions for coming out to see the playground in action. We couldn’t have picked a better partner for the playground build. Your support through out the whole process has been top notch. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!

And as always, thanks to Shane Pearce for once again coming to help us last night. You have never once hesitated to accommodate any of our crazy requests. I hope you know how much we appreciate you for every big and little thing you have done with us along the way of this playground build. Thank you.

And lastly, thank you to Muir Lake Community League & Hall and Muir Lake Playschool for working with us so closely on this project. We are quite fortunate to have two organizations that are able to connect and support one another. We cannot thank you enough for all you have done for the Playground committee, not just for last night, but for everything you have done throughout this last year. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you❤️.

Grand Opening Day is Today!! Rain or shine🌧☀️!!! We hope to see you all out to celebrate the grand opening of our new playground. So much work has gone into this play space and we want to take today to thank all the sponsors, businesses who donated and supporters!! Let’s all celebrate🎉

Come out for the Free BBQ for everyone, face painters and a ballon artist, bouncy castles are weather permitting. Come check out the playground and join us for the ribbon cutting!!!

Event runs from 5pm-7:30pm. See you there!
