Alberta Parenting for the Future Association

Alberta Parenting for the Future Association Building and strengthening family connections in the Tri Region for 28 years. We have a wide range of free programs for parents, youth and children.

A Family Resource Network that strengthens child and family connections through parent education programs, resources, and community social networking. We offer developmental screening tests and free ages and stages questionnaires. We offer family support services through our home visitation program and community kitchen. Our play groups offer a wide variety of kids activities that parents and children will enjoy and benefit from.

New to Canada and love to dance? 💃
We are excited to be partnering with Action for Healthy Communities Society of Alberta and the Alberta Ballet School to bring a FREE Ballet Camp for newcomer families.

Camp will run July 13 - 17 at the Family Connection Centre.
9:00am - 12:00pm for Junior (ages 4 - 6)
9:00a - 3:30pm for Kids (ages 7 - 10)

Our last Building Connections Teen Group before the fall is June 19th from 6 - 8pm at the 5600 50th Street.

This program is for youth ages 13-21 who have a disability, neurodiversity, special health, or developmental concern. We come together for activities, games, and special events! Pre-registration is required at apfa.ca

The Parkland School Division and Canada Homestay Network work together to support you and ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Play Your Way - Messy Edition is all about exploring, creating, sensory fun, and letting kids learn through play!

Come make memories (and a mess) with us Mondays, 1:30 - 2:30pm, beginning June 1st until June 22nd at the Family Connection Centre. This is a FREE drop-in program for children ages 2 - 5 years old and their caregivers.
