299 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Mackenzie Royal Canadian Sea Cadets is a youth organization that will offer you a world of amazing opportunities.

Our programme will challenge you with many exciting activities in a naval environment. From Newfoundland to Victoria and everywhere in between, young men and women aged 12 – 18 are participating in the most unique and diverse adventures of a lifetime. The Local Training programme focuses on giv
ing all Sea Cadets instruction and opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in a variety of subject

areas while also introducing them to specialized activities. Activities are offered year round, with local training offered on evenings and weekends throughout the school year, and summer training courses offered in July and August.

Only 4 more days until our ACR! My how the time has flown by.

We'd love for you all to come support our cadets on their final parade of the 2025-2026 training year. Oh and did we mention it's our 40th Anniversary? We're so excited to show you all the great things we've learned this year.

Last weekend our drill team participated in the 2026 Alberta Drill Competition. They did extremely well and we're so proud of each of them. All our cadets, new and experienced, learned something new during the learning of this sequence. Bravo Zulu 299 Drill Team! We look forward to seeing this performed at ACR in a couple of weeks!

It’s an honor to coach such an amazing group of cadets. Thank you to the cadets for all the effort you put in; you should all be very proud of yourselves!

Over the second weekend of April, 152 Resolute invited us to join them for their Nautical Weekend at Pigeon Lake! Cadets learned a variety of activities including shelter building, compass navigation, and radio operation, building skills they'll be able to apply in life and future Cadet related activities.
