The tropical race in Whitecourt this weekend isn’t the tropical we’re looking for. We were hoping for beaches and sunshine not rainforest downpours.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature has made the track pretty wet at this point in time and with the upcoming heavy rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday we have decided the best course of action is to postpone the race until next weekend June 27 & 28 in Whitecourt and hope the weather cooperates.

Thank you to the Whitecourt crew for working with us and sharing frequent track condition updates. This is not what ACM or the Whitecourt track wanted to do but we feel it is going to be the best decision at this point in time.

Whitecourt may need to hire some flaggers next weekend to replace the ones not available. Feel free to contact them if you are interested.

Please stay tuned in future posts for updates going forward.

Anyone already signed up we will move your registrations to next weekend unless you request a refund.

Two rounds of amateur national qualifying for
Riders meeting 7:15 and Practice starts at 8:00. Racing immediately after practice.

*The forecast continues to change and so we are all on the same page we will confirm Thursday at noon if there are any cancellations or changes. As of new we are planning on racing.

Hoping for a tropical weekend of Amateur National Qualifier racing at the Whitecourt Motocross facility just outside Blue Ridge where there is a Lake for swimming and fishing right at the track.

Bring your floaties, paddle boards, life jackets and fishing rods. We will have prizes for the best tropical outfit, kid that catches the biggest fish, and let’s say the best inflatable item on the lake.
