Community Futures is a federally funded government program that provides resources to develop and diversify the local economy. We provide entrepreneurs with practical, technical, financial and business information. We have access to government agencies and programs that may be of interest to entrepreneurs. Serving the communities of Parkland County, Leduc County and Brazeau County, Community Futures Capital Region (CFCR) is located in Stony Plain, Alberta and is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing communities and encouraging, sustaining and supporting economic development across rural Alberta. Funded by Western Economic Diversification, CFCR is a development lender assisting viable business ideas which result in economic success for our rural communities. Community Futures offices across across Western Canada have assisted thousands of entrepreneurs through business counseling, loan programs and training seminars and have had a positive impact in rural Alberta for over 20 years.
