Sundowners Toastmasters Club was first chartered in the summer of 1979.
Since then, it has become one of the most successful Toastmaster clubs in Canada.
Toastmasters is an excellent way to improve your critical thinking and public speaking skills, while improving your confidence.

We meet every Monday night at 7 p.m. (except holidays) at the Stony Plain Legion.
Guests are always welcome to come by (please arrive by 6:45 p.m.)

We have a meeting at 7pm on July 27th, come check us out! While we take a break from regular Monday night meetings during the summer, we have one in July and one in August. We start at 7pm sharp so please arrive early so we can welcome you.

The meeting location is the "Stony Plain Legion"

We are starting our summer break, which means our next meetings will be Monday, July 27th and Monday, August 24th. Regular meetings will convene Monday, August 31st. Please note: We are in the process of moving to a new location, therefore the locations for the summer meetings will be confirmed on our website closer to those dates. If you are interested in learning more about our club, please reach out!

Great job fellow Sundowners on attaining the Smedley Distinguished status, a fitting award for a highly engaged group! Our summer schedule is now in place with meetings only on July 27 and August 24 before resuming weekly Meetings.

Congratulations to Sundowners own Ilias and Laurie on first place finishes in the area speech contest and thank you for being such great role models! Thank you also to all the speakers who put their skills to the test and provided all with speeches that were funny, personal, and informative.
