Special Thanks to Ms. Smyth and her TA class at Wm. E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus for hosting a week-long bake sale in support of Stettler Community Hamper Society and our Socks for Seniors and Toiletries for Teens projects. They worked together to bake up some Christmas treats and donated $382 total, which will go directly towards helping fill stockings in our community. Many thanks to these Awesome Students!

We're picking up our Toy Hamper Bins around town today, setting up the Town of Stettler Community Hall, and getting ready to start packing Christmas Toy and Food Hampers and our Seniors Stocking Stuffers. Huge shout out to our amazing volunteers and our local businesses for collecting items on our behalf!

Our visit to Wells Furniture was filled with just as many hugs and squeezes as always, but some tears too. Bernie always supported the Stettler Community Hamper Society and we are so grateful to have her family continue this generosity and kindness. We are extremely blessed by our Community Businesses and Organizations who contribute to the Christmas Hamper Campaign each year, in hopes of making Christmas Magic happen for all. Merry Christmas, Everyone!

❄️☃️❤️The Charity Check Stop held on Saturday, December 13th was an Amazing Success! Thanks to our fantastic emergency services crews and volunteers for stepping up to freeze their toes, noses, and all points in between for Stettler and District Food Bank, Stettler Community Hamper Society, and Stettler Crisis Aid. Many toys and food items were collected and over $8,800 were raised while basking in the Sunshine! We, again, are blown away by the support of our community and appreciate those who dropped off snacks, boot and mitten warmers, and hugs while driving by. Thank You All! (Can you spot Santa out there helping us out?🙂🎅)

*TOMORROW* If you are looking for an opportunity to help us out, we'd welcome a couple friendly faces to assist us during the Charity Check-Stop on Saturday, Dec. 13th! We'll be collecting funds and new toys for our Stettler Community Hamper Society Christmas Hampers, as well as non-perishable items for Stettler and District Food Bank. All you need is a smile...and super warm outerwear! It's gonna be a chilly day!

💚❤️Our recipients have been confirmed (with their post cards when they applied) or were contacted today, if there was screening (information and ID confirmation) needed!🎄
This year, we are providing approximately 150 Christmas Dinner Hampers (of various sizes), 176 seniors stockings, and 168 Children's Gift Hampers throughout Stettler and surrounding Communities in our County. Your support ensures that each family is able to enjoy either a Ham or Turkey dinner with all the fixin's and gifts of toys, clothing, and more for their children under the tree. The Season of Giving is abundant in our little part of the world...Thank You all for your continued support of this program.
Monetary Donations are collected all year round at Gitzel and Co. and [email protected] . and our Green Bins are scattered about town until December 17th. 😊🎁🎄

DEADLINE!!! We are in the final week of Hamper Applications being accepted in person at the Food Bank, located in the Stettler United Church lobby. Our posters are up in that entranceway, so please get them in Tonight (Wednesday, December 3, from 7-8pm) and Tomorrow (Thursday, December 4th, from Noon until 2pm). Our Application Deadline is TOMORROW...as our volunteers need time to compile our wish lists, order our groceries and pack hampers for delivery on December 19th.
