CBDC Long Range services the region of south-western Newfoundland which corresponds closely with economic zone 9. It is a region of roughly 14,000 square kilometres encompassing five district geographic areas: Stephenville and surrounding area; Port au Port area; Barachois area; Penguin area; and Bay St.

Happy Saturday! We will be leaving the gift basket and donation jar up for a couple of days for those who weren't able to make it down yesterday! The Long Range Small Business Awards celebrate the outstanding businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations that make our region a great place to live, work, and visit.

🏆 Award recipients will be recognized at the Long Range Small Business Awards Gala on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Santa Maria Club.

Nominating is quick and easy! Simply complete our online nomination form by entering the name of the business or organization and selecting the award category (or categories) that best fit. If you're unsure which category to choose, don't worry—we've included an option for that too!

You can also submit multiple nominations by completing a separate form for each business or organization you'd like to recognize.
