From the Farmers’ Market to the Toastmasters lectern! 🌽🎤

Yesterday was a busy—and very enjoyable—day for Carillon Toastmasters.

We spent the afternoon at the Steinbach & District Farmers’ Market, meeting people, answering questions and talking about how Toastmasters can help build confidence, communication and leadership skills.

Then it was off to Loewen Windows for our regular Thursday evening meeting, where the conversations continued and our members had another chance to learn, speak, laugh and grow.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, to the members who helped out during the afternoon, and to everyone who joined us for the evening meeting especially Matt and Nancy Ellenson who came all the way from Warroad, MN to each deliver a speech and our Area Director Nazri Mohidin brought his whole family to our meeting. We have to do this more often...

One club. Two locations. One great day of connecting with our community.

We’re starting the afternoon at the Steinbach & District Farmers’ Market at Clearspring Mall from 3:00–6:30 p.m.

While you’re shopping for fresh produce, homemade goodies and locally made products, stop by the Carillon Toastmasters table and say hello! 👋

Find out who we are, what happens at a Toastmasters meeting, and how improving your communication and leadership skills can make a difference — at work, in the community, or simply in everyday life.

Then, when the market wraps up, our members will pack up and make the quick trip over to Loewen Windows for our regular 7:00 p.m. hybrid Toastmasters meeting.

And naturally, after spending the afternoon supporting our local vendors, our meeting theme is...
