✨ Meet Ruth!
As the Perinatal Educator at Steinbach Family Resource Centre, Ruth supports families through some of life's biggest transitions—from pregnancy to the early months of parenting. She facilitates our Special Delivery Club, Rock & Rattle, Coping with Change Program, and Breastfeeding Support Group, providing education, encouragement, and connection for growing families.
Ruth is our longest-standing employee and has been part of the organization since the days when SFRC was known as Anna's House. Over the years, she has supported countless families, becoming a trusted and familiar face for parents throughout our community.
With a nursing background, years of parenting experience, and now the joy of grandparenting, Ruth brings a unique blend of professional knowledge, wisdom, and genuine understanding to her role. She knows firsthand that pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years can be both beautiful and challenging, and she is passionate about helping families navigate those seasons with confidence and support.
One of the things that makes Ruth so exceptional is her attention to detail and the care she puts into everything she does. No detail is overlooked, no question is too small, and no family is ever just a number. She serves with her whole heart, and it shows in every program she leads, every conversation she has, and every family she supports. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact on our organization and the community we serve.
