**Upcoming IN PERSON Book Fair events:
November 21 (4-8pm), November 22, (10am-4pm) and November 23 (1-4pm) at our warehouse at Unit 9-110 Industrial Road, in Steinbach MB We are located behind the Love Local Manitoba store (that faces Industrial Road). Signs will be posted, please park in the designated book fair parking areas. We accept cash, credit and debit. We are not open for in-person shopping except for at our book fairs.

2026 dates coming soon! Book donations may be dropped off at our warehouse any Tuesday from 11am-3pm (except on holidays), or at the Steinbach Clearspring Mall rear/Winners entrance in our book donation bin (which is available 7 days a week, during mall hours). For more information about donating books, please visit https://roceastman.ca/donate . (At this time, we do not have the volunteer capacity to offer book donation pick up services. If you would like to become a pick up volunteer, please let us know!)

Recreation Opportunities for Children (ROC) Eastman is a registered Canadian charity ( #821026309) offering supports that reduce barriers to recreation opportunities for children in the Eastman region of Manitoba. Our vision is empower every child through meaningful recreation activity choices, where recreation is a foundation for healthy families and communities. ROC Eastman focuses on direct, one-on-one relationships and support with children and parents/caregivers. Serving families since 2009 - Steinbach, Beausejour, RM of Brokenhead, RM of Hanover, Niverville, Lac du Bonnet, Vita, Vassar, Powerview-Pine Falls, Hollow Water First Nation, Sagkeeng, Manigotagan, Woodridge, Whitemouth, Ste. It’s the last day of the summer charity ROC Eastman Charity Used Book Fair🇨🇦MB 🎉 We are open for shopping from 1-4pm at warehouse unit 8 at 110 Industrial Rd in Steinbach.

We have restocked our free books (outside), as well as our book store shelves FULL with books and puzzles for our Sunday shoppers! Books are $1-$4, and Puzzles are $1-$8. Swipe through the pictures for a peek at our bookshelves, puzzle section & free books outside!

Our Saturday morning ROC Eastman Charity Used Book Fair🇨🇦MB volunteers are all ready for you! Our shelves are restocked with the best of the best gently used puzzles & books; we hope you can pop by and find some new-to-you treasures! (Plus, you’ll get a free frosty from our friends at Wendys of Winnipeg & Steinbach with your purchase!)

We will be open for shopping:
Friday June 12 • 4-8pm
Saturday June 13 • 10-4pm
Sunday June 14 • 1-4pm

At warehouse UNIT 8 at 110 Industrial Road in Steinbach

We have THOUSANDS of books available for purchase at our in person book fairs! (What you see on our website is only a small portion of what’s available at our in person event!)

All books are gently used, and are priced between $1-$4, and we will have some bundle deals available as well! (A selection of free books is also available!) We also have over 150 gently used (complete!) puzzles are priced individually, priced at $1-$8.

Cash, Debit & Credit are accepted.

Can’t make it to shop in person? We have updated our online stock and have a selection of bestsellers available for purchase online! I am a reader! Book donations make a daily difference for our ROC Eastman families. Having the access to our ROC Eastman Charity Book Fair book store to explore at their pace and at a time that fits their families schedule gives them the independence to support their family in their literacy journey, expand on personal interests, try something new! Offers the opportunity to enjoy alternatives to screen time. Community donations of puzzles, games and books support families in literacy, family time and learning. For our families who live far from our book fair store, ROC staff make it mobile and pack up items to bring to rural locations, removing the barrier or travel! It brings so much joy to see children excited to pick a new book that they get to keep and enjoy for as long as they want!

Looking for a fun way to give back this spring? Come volunteer at the ROC Eastman Charity Book Fair Fundraiser cash table next weekend, June 12-14 in Steinbach! .ca_bookfair

Shifts are 2-3.5 long, please visit our website link for a list of timeslots still available. Volunteer with a friend, or sign up on your own and meet a new one! Volunteers must be 16 years old older, but teens aged 12+ are welcome to volunteer alongside an adult.

FREE local pick up is available in Steinbach, Beausejour & Vita, and we also offer Canada-wide shipping for a $25 flat rate. 🇨🇦

Books for sale on our website are gently used, but they are books that are in the BEST of the best condition, so you know you’re getting great books when you purchase sight unseen!

We will continue to add new inventory as our volunteers sort through books weekly until our next in-person book fair, June 12-14.

A moment of appreciation for this wonderful group of ROC-star volunteers! Every Tuesday, this group sorts through donations, helps plan & organize our book fairs, counts puzzles to ensure they are all complete, and goes through games & equipment to ensure they are complete before gifting to our families. They are the heart and soul of our book fair, and we so greatly appreciate all of the hard work and nuggets of experience & expertise they gift !
