Hey Coyotes fam! It's September and we're getting ready to hit the ice again! While our ag societies are working hard to coordinate making ice on our home arenas, we have booked a practice for each of our league teams in Strathmore again to start this season.

Registration is now open for the 2026/2027 skating season! ⛸️

This year we will be offering pre-beginner, can skate, figure skating and power skating!

Please use the link to register your skaters!

Skating sessions will begin on October 19th, and end on February 1st. Sessions may be cancelled due unforeseen circumstances such as, weather or illness, however there will be no make up dates this year.

Skating is the foundation for every ice sport--and it is a skill you can enjoy for life! We offer programs for every skater:

PreCanSkate
A fun introduction for young beginners as young as 2 years-old. Build confidence, balance, and basic movement through games and play.
Thursdays 4:15-4:45 pm
$95 entire season

CanSkate
Canada's nationally recognized learn-to-skate program. Develop strong skating skills for pleasure, hockey, ringette, figure skating, and more.
Thursdays 4:15-4:45 pm
$125 entire season

StarSkate
For skaters ready to grow their figure skating skills through lessons, routines, jumps, spins, and performance opportunities.
Mondays 4:00-7:00 pm
Thursdays 5:15-6:45 pm
Star Skate $185
Jr. Star Skate $145

2026-2027 Important Dates:
Annual General Meeting: Thursday, September 24 at 7 pm
Early Bird Registration: October 1
Tentative Start Date: October 8 (pending ice preparation)
Final Registration Deadline: November 15

All skaters must be members of the Standard & District Agricultural Society
Our season runs from October to March.
No new skaters after November 15th.
