Chef Kenny Warthen has created a beautiful four-course menu, each course thoughtfully paired with Gold Medal-winning w**es from the Hilton Head W**e & Food Festival. Sommelier Miriam Gonzalez will guide guests through an evening celebrating exceptional food, remarkable w**es and the art of bringing people together.

Today, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Chairman Vince Finaldi joined David Sydorick, Merle Mullin, and Caroline Cassini for “The Pinnacle of Collecting,” a fascinating panel discussion moderated by Bruce Meyer.

Thank you to the Petersen Automotive Museum for hosting this event and bringing together some of the automotive world’s most notable collectors for an engaging conversation about the past, present, and future of automotive collecting, and the important role institutions and events such as Pebble Beach and the Petersen play in preserving and shaping automotive culture.

For Mike and Debbie Rogers, the cars aren’t trophies to be parked and admired from a distance. They’re stories.

The couple, named the 2026 Velocity Collectors for the Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance, have assembled a collection with some extraordinary names attached to it, including rare Shelby vehicles and a Ferrari 599 with a manual transmission.

But specifications only tell part of the story.

What makes a collection interesting is why someone chose each car, what it represents and the memories that accumulate around it.
