🌟 Referee Spotlight: Danylo Hrebenko 🌟

Here is our first Referee Spotlight of the Respect the Whistle campaign!

Danylo got involved in refereeing after he moved to NL to stay connected to the game he loves. Over the past two years, he has officiated U13–U17 matches and worked as an assistant referee in Challenge Cup and Jubilee games.

One of the highlights of his journey so far was representing Newfoundland and Labrador as an assistant referee at the Canada Games last summer. He also had the opportunity to take part in the National Championships hosted in the province last fall!

Danylo is currently working toward becoming a Regional Referee as he continues to grow through the Canada Soccer referee pathway!

The CF Montreal ID Camp was a fantastic experience over three days, giving players the opportunity to showcase themselves in front of CF Montreal staff through a variety of activities and matches.

We look forward to continuing to build these relationships and expanding opportunities for players across Newfoundland and Labrador!

A huge thank you to the CF Montreal team, Alex Di Giacomo, Nevello Yoseke, and Giannis Vertzagias for coming out!
