Happy International Women's Day to all our members, volunteers, and staff. Today, we celebrate the achievements of women and their contributions to engineering, geoscience and beyond.

The 2025 theme is Accelerate Action, which emphasizes the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.

National Engineering and Geoscience month is a month-long celebration of the heart and soul of engineers and geoscientists, which showcases their passion, commitment, and action toward making the world a better place. National Engineering and Geoscience Month kicks off March 1st. To mark this celebration, Memorial University's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science is hosting its annual Open House Saturday, March 1, 2025.
