🎉 We have finally made it through the last day of live festival classes for the 2026 season!

We extend our sincere thanks to the fantastic community of participants, parents, teachers, accompanists, volunteers, venue staff, and adjudicators, among many others, for helping us complete all festival classes despite the countless disruptions experienced over the past two weeks. We are so proud to have been able to reach this point without cancelling a single festival class, and we could not have done so without the support of the amazing arts community here in St. John's. Thank you for all that you have done to support the Kiwanis Music Festival of St. John's and give our participants a chance to perform!

Moving forward, we do aim to host both of our post-festival concerts, awards ceremony, and Rose Bowl events; however, these events will no longer be taking place at the originally scheduled dates and locations. ❄️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: Monday, February 23rd

📢 Given the city-wide recommendation to avoid non-essential travel, all classes scheduled for Monday, February 23rd, have been postponed. We will do our best to reschedule affected participants as soon as possible.

🗓️ A reminder that the ongoing inclement weather has led to various scheduling challenges. Given the number of schedule adjustments, we encourage ALL PARTICIPANTS registered in the competitive festival to check their KMF account and view the updated schedule. We will do our best to find an alternative for folks originally scheduled to perform today as soon as we are able.

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE: Week Two & Monday, Feb 23

📢 Due to the ongoing inclement weather, we are navigating various adjudicator travel interruptions. To adjust for these delays, we, unfortunately, had to change many of our festival bookings. Given the number of adjustments, we encourage ALL PARTICIPANTS registered in the competitive festival to check their KMF account and view the updated schedule.

❄️ IMPORTANT: All classes scheduled for tomorrow morning, Monday, February 23rd, have been rescheduled. Please expect an update regarding the afternoon and evening sessions by 12 pm.

No weather related decision has been made for classes scheduled on Sunday at this time. If a decision is made to reschedule afternoon or evening classes, all participants involved will be notified via email and our website will be updated accordingly. Please expect an update tomorrow morning.

The Kiwanis Music Festival has been a firm establishment within the greater St. John's area for over 70 years. For many it is the definitive venue for aspiring musicians (young and seasoned) to showcase their talents on a public stage.
