Meet Ian Lush.

Last year, after months of tests that all came back normal, a CT scan found what nothing else could: stage four cancer.

Today, a pill is working and Ian is making the most of every moment. But his life now runs on a three-month clock. Every three months, one CT scan tells him whether he gets another season with his daughters.

As part of our Making Spirits Bright campaign, Ian is sharing his story to help bring a new CT scanner closer to home, so patients across Newfoundland and Labrador get their answers in time.

We're proud to celebrate Cowan Plaza Bingo and the incredible difference they continue to make in our community!

For more than 26 years, Cowan Plaza Bingo has been bringing people together while raising funds for important causes throughout our community, including more than $1.1 million in support of the Health Care Foundation.

This Saturday, their Christmas Fair will feature 60 local vendors offering handmade crafts, baked treats, and unique gifts for everyone on your holiday shopping list. 🎄✨

On World Mental Health Day, we recognize the importance of mental health and addictions care and the difference that compassion, understanding and access to support can make in someone's life.

At the Health Care Foundation, we are proud to support the Mental Health and Addictions Centre, helping enhance care, comfort and support for patients and families throughout their mental health journeys.
