September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

As Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month begins, we're honoured to share this message from Belles with Balls NL. Through their incredible advocacy, fundraising and commitment, Belles with Balls NL continues to help advance women’s health care right here at home.

Together, greater awareness and understanding can help ensure more women and families have the knowledge and support they need.🤍

For us, it is so much more than a month.

September gives us an important opportunity to turn up the volume on ovarian cancer awareness, but our commitment doesn’t begin on September 1 — and it certainly doesn’t end on September 30.

Awareness. Education. Research. Hope. These are at the heart of what we do 365 days a year.

Throughout September, we will be sharing information about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, highlighting local research and education, remembering and celebrating the women who inspire us, and bringing our community together through events and initiatives that make a difference.

We hope you will follow along, learn, share, participate and help us spread the word not only this month, but all year long.
