🌟 Science Atlantic Psychology Conference 🌟

Lifewise recently had the pleasure of hosting a booth at the Science Atlantic Psychology Conference held at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

This conference provided an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase their research, connect with faculty and peers, and explore future opportunities in psychology, research, and graduate studies.

Our team enjoyed spending the day connecting with students, faculty, and professionals in the mental health field, while sharing information about Lifewise programs and services and highlighting the important role peer support and lived experience can play in mental health and wellbeing.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to engage with people who are passionate about learning, research, and supporting mental health in our communities.

Thank you to the organizers for welcoming Lifewise to be part of this inspiring event! 💙

Congratulations to Adriana on completing her Lifewise Peer Support Certification! 🎉

We’re excited to celebrate this milestone and recognize the incredible work Adriana is already doing as a Peer Supporter with Stella’s Circle's Transition and Aftercare Program (TAP).

As Adriana shares, “As a Peer Supporter in Transition and Aftercare, I’m able to explore wellness with peers and connect them to community resources that support their life journey.”

Drawing on her lived experience, Adriana provides compassionate, strengths-based support to individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. This certification further strengthens the knowledge and skills she uses every day, helping ensure the support she provides is safe, effective, and grounded in the values and principles of peer support.

Through connection, understanding, and shared experience, Adriana helps remind people that recovery is possible and that they don’t have to walk their path alone.

Please join us in congratulating Adriana on this important achievement and recognizing the essential role peer support plays in person-centered mental health care. 💜

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month.

Strength isn’t about staying silent or pretending everything’s fine. It’s about the courage to feel, to speak, and to reach out when you need support.

Too many men carry their struggles alone, believing that vulnerability is weakness. But facing what’s going on inside, and choosing to open up, takes real strength.

Lifewise offers peer support rooted in lived experience. We’re here to walk beside you, through the hard days, the healing, and the moments in between. Whether you’re struggling or simply need someone who understands, you are never alone.

This month, and always, let’s stand together and remind each other: connection makes a difference.

[ID] The graphic features three overlapping male faces in a staggered layout, two in shades of grey on either side, with a blue-toned face in the center. The title reads: "Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, June 2026." A quote below says: "Let's break the silence and challenge the stigma. Mental health matters, no matter your gender." The bottom left corner is decorated with circles in red, green, and blue. The Lifewise logo appears at the bottom of the graphic, beneath the faces.

This June, we honor the strength, courage, and resilience of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Pride is not just a celebration, it's a powerful reminder that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in their full humanity.

As a lived experience organization, we recognize the unique mental health challenges many in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community face due to discrimination and stigma, and we’re here to walk beside you. Whether you’re navigating identity, finding community, or healing from past experiences, you are not alone.

Let’s continue building a world where everyone can live, love, and be themselves safely, openly, and unapologetically.
