📢 Public Engagement Opportunity

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is inviting residents to participate in an online questionnaire as part of the development of its 10-Year Poverty Reduction and Prevention Strategy.

Public and community input helps ensure the strategy reflects real experiences, regional differences, and practical solutions.

We encourage our community to learn more and participate:

📊 Social enterprise innovation builds a strong economy for all.

CSCNL's Social Innovation Lab is proud to have partnered with Buy Social Canada and 13 organizations across Canada to support the first national social enterprise survey in a decade.

The newly released report, Built for Impact, Ready for Market, provides the first national snapshot of Canada's social enterprise sector in 10 years and highlights a sector that is driving innovation, creating jobs, and strengthening communities across the country.

Key findings include:

✨ $6.5B+ in revenue generated in 2025
✨ 18,000+ people employed
✨ 5,600+ jobs for individuals facing barriers to employment
✨ 22% launched a new enterprise or service in the past year

Thank you to the social enterprises in Newfoundland and Labrador that participated and helped ensure our province was represented in this important national research.
