Applications Open: Wednesday, September 2
Applications Close: Friday, October 2

A Message from CBC: CANADA IS COMING TO EUROVISION 2027!

It’s official! Canada will make its historic Eurovision debut in 2027, with the country’s first-ever representative set to take the Eurovision stage in Bulgaria. 🎤🔥

📅 SUBMISSIONS OPEN: August 31, 2026
📅 SUBMISSIONS CLOSE: September 9, 2026

Canadian citizens and permanent residents aged 18+ will be eligible to apply.

Following the submission period, CBC/Radio-Canada will select a shortlist of artists. The finalists will then compete for the chance to become Canada’s first-ever Eurovision representative, with the winner determined through a combination of public voting and an independent jury of music industry experts. 🗳️🎶

Dr. Zainab Jerrett will be presented with the Unsung Hero Award, a tribute to the kind of behind-the-scenes work that keeps our music sector thriving. Colleen Power will receive the Denis Parker Industry Builder Award for her role in strengthening the industry from the ground up. And Con O’Brien will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing decades of contribution to our province’s music community.
