Growing The Voices: Festival 500 Growing the Voices offers many programs and events to create singing opportunities. And that everyone has the developmental capacity to learn to sing.

Growing the Voices: Festival 500 is committed to the belief that singing belongs to everyone. Couple this with the scientific proof that singing alone and/or together can improve personal, social and mental health for individuals and communities and it is our mission to promote singing in every way, everywhere - starting in our 'home' of Newfoundland and Labrador and ultimately across the globe. Growing the Voices: Festival 500 will continue to offer a growing list us programs and events to help us achieve our vision. "Singing belongs to everyone. It is good for body, mind and soul and strengthens community. Singing with others brings joy, inclusion, and empowerment, from informal to formal settings, and everything in between. I want to enable folks to connect and reconnect with their singing selves all over the world, beginning right here at home in Newfoundland & Labrador. 'Growing the Voices' is an exciting and timely goal."
