The Fluvarium, in partnership with Brilliant Labs / Labos créatifs , is excited to offer RiverTech Camp,a FREE STEM summer camp for youth ages 10–13!

🕧 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 The Fluvarium, 5 Nagles Place, St. John's

Campers will enjoy an exciting week of:

Something exciting has rolled into The Fluvarium! 🚗

Our new Mighty Engine exhibit is officially open, and it's already getting lots of smiles. Kids can explore, play, and learn all about how their bodies work through hands-on activities that make learning fun.

If you're looking for something to do with the family this summer, come check it out! It's here until September 14 and is included with regular admission.

🌞 We're Open for the Summer!

Starting Sunday, July 5 at Noon, the Fluvarium is open for another great summer season!

Come explore our freshwater exhibits, check out our frogs, axolotls and fish, and don't miss Mighty Orgamites: The Mighty Engine – a fun, hands-on exhibit that teaches kids all about the human body and the importance of organ donation.

Summer Hours:
🌿 Saturdays & Sundays: 10:00 AM–4:30 PM
🌿 Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 5:30–8:00 PM
🌿 Thursdays & Fridays: Closed

📅 Mighty Orgamites is on display July 5 – September 9.

Join us for Wellness Walks in Pippy Park, beginning Thursday, June 18. These weekly group walks are a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, meet new people, and take some time for your physical and mental well-being.

Those who adopted a salmon at our Easter event are invited back to help release them into the stream!

Join us on Saturday, June 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for this special milestone in their journey.

This event will take place outdoors and will go ahead rain or shine. Please dress for the weather. Signs will be posted to direct you to the release location.

VOCM Cares has been a valued supporter of our organization for many years, helping us continue our mission of connecting people with nature and environmental education.

We are especially grateful to Stephanie for her years of dedication to The Fluvarium and for continuing to support our organization after her time on the Board!

To commemorate VOCM's 90th anniversary, we're continuing with our special Staff Giving Initiative. For the first 9 months of the year, we will be making a monthly donation to a charity chosen by a member of the VOCM team - each one a cause close to their heart.

For the month of May, Stephanie Korab, Sales Manager with Stingray has selected The Fluvarium.

Stephanie is proud to have served on its board for almost 14 years, and could think of no better way to honor her time there than to advocate for its incredible work. For decades, The Fluvarium has been a special place in our community, teaching children and adults about our local environment. For Stephanie, this nomination is about recognizing an institution that has given so much to our community!
