At Strong Harbour Strings, we believe that communities can be strengthened through the learning and sharing of music.

Strong Harbour Strings is an independent non-profit based in the Buckmaster's Circle neighbourhood. We offer equal access to music education and performance for the Buckmaster's Circle and surrounding neighbourhoods. We endeavour to create sparks of inspiration, outlets of creativity, and opportunities to build community through music making. Our resident Teaching Artists are the members of the Strong Harbour Strings Collective- Carole Bestvater, Maria Cherwick, Daniel Fuchs, and Amy Collyer-Holmes. These Teaching Artists are involved as teachers and performers. Along with the education component, Strong Harbour Strings also has a series of community events that everyone is welcome to attend. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming concerts and workshops by our students and Teaching Artists.

We had a fun afternoon performance at Avalon Mall today - glad to share some music with the community, and thank you to everyone who took the time to stop and listen!
