World Diabetes Day (WDD) is the primary global awareness campaign focusing on diabetes mellitus and is held on 14 November each year. Type 2 diabetes is a largely preventable and treatable non-communicable disease that is rapidly increasing in numbers worldwide. Type 1 diabetes is not preventable but can be managed with insulin injections . Was Insulin discovered in 1922?

It was a real treat to be able to attend the Tiddlycove-Ambleside Lions Club 50 year celebration on May 2.(better late than never!) Vince Moule(Vinny) and Kayleigh Head from your local Lions Club were in attendance. We met lots of great people,enjoyed some music,dinner,views and a great opportunity to meet with and mingle with other fellow Lions 🦁
