Want to help shape the future of arts and culture in Squamish? We're looking for passionate community members to join our 2027 Arts & Culture Grant jury!

Jurors will help review and adjudicate grant applications in early December, playing an important role in supporting local artists, creative projects, and arts and culture initiatives in our community.

✨ This is your chance to have a say in how arts and culture funding supports and enriches Squamish!

The District of Squamish's Community Enhancement Grant Program supports local initiatives that strengthen community connections, foster inclusion, and enhance the wellbeing of our community.

There are two granting streams available:

🎨 Arts & Culture Grant — Administered by Squamish Arts, this grant supports projects that enhance our community through arts and culture initiatives.

🌱 Community Enhancement Grant — Administered by the Squamish Community Foundation, this grant supports community-focused projects that are not specifically arts and culture based.

Projects may address themes such as reconciliation, environmental sustainability, equity and diversity, youth engagement, social wellbeing, and more!

📌 Please note: Applicants can only receive funding through one of these two granting streams.

Today only! As part of ArtWalk, local artists are opening their studio doors and inviting you to explore their creative spaces, discover their work, and get a behind-the-scenes look at their artistic processes!

Funding is available to groups, organizations, and individuals with projects that support and enhance arts and culture in Squamish. Squamish Arts provides funding toward specific project expenses for initiatives that align with our goals and mandate.
Whether you’re planning a creative project, event, program, or other arts & culture initiative, we want to hear your ideas!

Join us tonight at The Artisan Gallery for the closing reception of Strength Through Creativity: The Lineage of Four Generations of Women.

This special exhibition brings together artwork from a family of strong women, spanning four generations, ages 12 to 101. To close the exhibition, Christine O’Byrne’s painting Robert’s Creek Sunset will be auctioned in support of Tantalus Wellspring Society, helping bring mental health and wellness support to our community.
