Squamish Dragon Boat Association Squamish Dragon Boat Association Dragon boating simply put is a boat of 22 individuals paddling to cross the finish line faster than the competition.

It's a team sport in its purest form that encompasses the elements of power, speed, synchronization and endurance. The Squamish Dragon Boat Association has a women’s team Chawanda, ranging in ages from 20ties to 70ties. They compete in festivals and regatta’s through out the west coast and consistently place in B competitive and A recreational divisions. We welcome everyone to come and join us, a

nd are working towards building a mixed team, so come on out guys!! We paddle out of which practises 3 x a week. Tue & Thur. @ 5:45 and Sundays @ 3:45. Our dock is on the Cattermole Slough, at the South end of Cleveland Ave. If you’d like to give Dragon boating a try, come on down and join us! Squamish Dragon Boat wants you to join us for practices both recreational paddles on Saturdays and race training on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday! Our race season begins at the end of May join us today and experience comradery and exercise in the beauty of the Sqamish waters. Sound Paddlers will be back on the water on Saturday April 18, 8:45am. Cost is $10.00 after April 18. First paddle is free. Paddles and lifejackets provided.
