On October 7, 1981, PearlSpace, formerly the Howe Sound Women’s Centre Society, was founded as a grassroots response to gender-based violence. What began as a small, community-driven effort has grown into a vital source of safety, advocacy, and support for survivors across the Sea to Sky.

Today, we honour 45 years of service, resilience, and collective care. 💜
To everyone who has supported, volunteered, partnered, or accessed our services, you are part of this story!
