Two of us recently cleared four dozen winter deadfalls off the Echo Lake trails, most of them just below the lake.
Couldn’t have managed it without Ryan Larkin doing the majority of the work, and Black Tusk Helicopter flying us to the lake, which saved us hours of hiking our saws up the mountain – working down from the top is much better.
It was a very full day, but also really good “Type-Two Fun.”
The trail has taken some additional storm and flood damage in a few spots that will be taken care of over the next couple of months, but almost all of the circuit is in excellent condition.
Enjoy 😊
