Throughout the year we host educational seminars, info-sessions, movie nights, shows, clinics, workshops, BBQ's and more. Your membership gives you access to all of these events and helps our club have a strong voice in our community for all things horse related. The board members of the SVEA have been working really hard over the past six months to bring this much needed improvement to our community ✨

🔥 NEW ALUMINUM JUMPS ARE HERE! 🔥

We had the pleasure of displaying them at our show yesterday, but it’s time to show them to the world on social media as well ☺️

With the remaining wood wooden jumps that have been at the arena for the past 15 years (at least) finally disintegrating we had to make the decision to bring this much needed upgrade in. Our long-term goals always to eventually have an indoor arena at the lands, but with the age of the arena is nearing 20 years the Board of Directors decided that we need to put money back into maintaining what we have currently.

Western Show Day Cancelled 😞

Due to low entries and a couple of scratches we have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel our Western Show Day at the SVEA tomorrow.

Our goal is to make our events as inclusive as we possibly can to all disciplines, but that means that we need participants in order for these days to run!

We are planning another schooling show with a similar format in October, so please keep an eye out for show dates that we are going to establish in the next week or two!

Official Show Schedule is here! 🐴✨

We’re kicking off the SVEA Summer Show on August 15, 2026 with a full day of hunter, jumper, flat, leadline, and fun classes.

Show starts at 8:30 AM
Open warm-up begins at 7:00 AM

Whether you’re stepping into the ring for the first time, moving up a level, or coming out to cheer on our local riders, we can’t wait to see everyone there.

🐴 **Show day is coming up!** 🐴

The Squamish Valley Equestrian Association Summer Schooling Show is happening **August 15**, and we’re officially calling on riders to get those entries in! Whether you’re joining us in the ring or cheering from the sidelines, we can’t wait for a fun day of horses, community and friendly competition. ✨

We’re also still looking for a few more amazing volunteers to help us run the show. No horse-show experience is required—just a willingness to jump in and be part of the team!
