“Passionately Curious !”
(Moses and the Burning Bush)
Moses was simply going about his normal workday, tending his father-in-law Jethro’s flock in the wilderness, when he saw something extraordinary: a bush ablaze with fire that wasn't being consumed. He could have ignored it and kept walking, but he allowed himself to be passionately curious. He said, "I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up".
It was only after Moses turned aside to look that God called out to him by name. God met him on that holy ground, revealed His compassion for His suffering people, and gave Moses a massive calling to lead them to freedom. When Moses doubted himself, asking, "Who am I?" God gave him the ultimate promise: "I will be with you".
What happens when we let that spiritual curiosity fire us up today?
In Romans 12:9–21, Paul shows us what a life transformed by God’s presence actually looks like in action:
Keep Your Spiritual Fervor: Never be lacking in zeal; keep your inner fire burning for the Lord.
Show Genuine Love: Love sincerely, cling to what is good, and honor others above yourself.
Be Faithful & Present: Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer, and share with those in need.
Overcome Evil with Good: Live at peace, bless those who persecute you, feed your enemies, and never let evil win the day.
When we get curious about where God is working around us—and step closer to investigate—He meets us right where we are. He doesn't ask us to be perfect or all-powerful; He simply asks us to show up, trust His presence, and put sincere love into action every single day.
Turn aside today to see what God is doing in your life. Stay curious, stay passionate, and let His love move you to action! 🔥✨
