On behalf of The Green Bay Chamber, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Dave's family. Cherish the memories, as Dave was a truly special person in our community, and he will be deeply missed by many.

For 20 plus years, Dave has held a seat on council—not simply as a member, but as a steady voice and a thoughtful leader, serving terms as Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillor. Through times of change, challenge, and growth, Dave was a constant: principled, dedicated, and deeply committed to the well-being of this community. What defines a person’s legacy in public service is not just the number of years they serve, but the impact they leave behind. And in that regard, Dave’s contributions are immeasurable. His work has helped shape the direction of this community, strengthened its foundation, and improved the lives of countless residents.

Beyond policy and decisions, Dave has been a pillar of this community in the truest sense—someone people could rely on, someone who listened, and someone who genuinely cared. It is rare to see such longevity matched with such unwavering dedication. That kind of commitment spoke volumes about Dave’s character and his belief in public service.

Those who had the privilege of serving alongside Dave will remember not only his wisdom and experience, but also his character—the respect he showed others, his strong principles, and his genuine care for the community he loved.

While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life of meaningful service. May we honor his memory by carrying forward the spirit of service he embodied so well.

On behalf of the mayor, fellow councillors, staff and the entire community, we offer our deepest condolences to Dave’s Family. The impact he made will continue to be felt for generations to come.

It's also a chance to encourage more people to volunteer and highlight its benefits for everyone.

April 1st, our Chamber of Commerce AGM was held at Riverwood Inn, with Wing’n It served for the meal.

Our newly acclaimed President, Jamie Hull, served as MC for the evening. He provided a Chamber activity and financial update. Returning executive member and acclaimed Vice President, Nicole Holland, shared an update on local tourism, highlighting the Green Bay trail network.

Elections were held (thank you Linda Brett), and we welcomed new members Corey Gillingham, Jerry Brett, Nichole Winsor, and Andrea Cole. Returning members include Jamie Hull, Nicole Holland, Tammy Anstey, and Janis Coombs.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported us. We look forward to connecting with you soon.
