The purpose of the Springdale Heritage Society is to gather, conserve, and present items and photographs pertaining to the historical and cultural heritage of Springdale and the immediate Hall's Bay area. Come and look at old photographs that show Springdale's history, including the industries of fishing, mink and fox farming, mining, logging, boat building, etc. You can also fin

d the histories/ancestries of different families that live here in Springdale. We also have a replica trapper's cabin and one of the largest taxidermy displays on the island,

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, the Springdale Heritage Center is offering FREE admission for the 2025 season! We invite you to stop by, explore, and enjoy everything we have to offer. Donations are always welcome, but never expected!

Want to preserve your family heritage but don't know where to start? We can help!

We are still working to gather photos, documents and memories to help preserve the rich history of Springdale's families.. and yours could be the missing piece!

Its never too late to start preserving your families heritage. Email your info to [email protected] or drop in Mon-Fri & every other Sat 10am-5pm to explore our growing collection and see how your family could contribute!

Our hours will be 10am-5pm Monday to Friday.
We will also be open every other Saturday starting July 12th!
