☀🌀 Walk the labyrinth with us this Summer Solstice.

As our ancestors did in times before and our descendants may do in times to come, we honour the old ways as we walk the labyrinth to celebrate the Summer Solstice.

On the longest day of the year, we invite you to pause, reflect, and mark the turning of the season with a guided walk through Wintergreen’s stone labyrinth. Following a light lunch, guests will be guided through a walking meditation—offering space to slow down, listen to nature, and notice what is shifting and what endures.

Whether it is your first labyrinth walk or your hundredth, this is a chance to step away from the pace of everyday life and spend intentional time outdoors in community.

🦋 Have you ever wondered what comes alive after dark?

Join us for the Moth Ball, an evening dedicated to some of the most fascinating and overlooked creatures of the night. Enjoy a delicious dinner, a presentation featuring moths spotted at Wintergreen over the years, and then head outdoors as dusk settles to see what species are drawn to our illuminated moth sheets.

Naturalist Hilbert Buist will be on hand to help photograph and identify the moths we encounter, sharing insights into their lives and the important roles they play in local ecosystems.

Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or simply curious about the natural world, this is a unique opportunity to experience the magic of a summer evening outdoors.

🐍🌱 Our 12th annual Spring Land Art BioBlitz brought together curious minds, creative spirits, and nature lovers for a full day of exploration, learning, and community.

From guided hikes and forest bathing to drumming, mushroom inoculating, and species identification, the day was filled with discovery, fun, and time spent outdoors in the beautiful Frontenac Arch.

A huge thank you to all of our participants, instructors, and volunteers who helped make the event so special. Your energy, generosity, and willingness to share your knowledge are what make LABB such a meaningful tradition year after year.

We’re also deeply grateful to TD Friends of the Environment Foundation for helping make this community event possible.

Here’s to another wonderful spring of learning from the land — and to many more LABBs to come! 💚

📣 Happening next Saturday ! 🌿 Join us for Singing Body, a day-long retreat exploring voice, movement, creativity, and self-expression in the beautiful surroundings of Wintergreen Studios.

Through guided movement, singing, improvisation, and playful exploration, participants will be invited to build confidence in expression, develop greater body awareness, and discover new ways of listening, moving, and creating. No previous experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to participate.

Led by acclaimed movement artist Julia Aplin and Juno Award-winning vocalist Patricia (Trish) O'Callaghan, this unique retreat offers a welcoming space to learn, explore, and try something new.

🌱 The land restoration project at the Kenhtè:ke Language and Cultural Centre continues to grow.

This spring has been full of activity as we, alongside Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na, volunteers, families, and community members, have planted hundreds of trees, shrubs, and native plants across the site. From eastern redbud and flowering raspberry to elderberry, wild strawberry, Joe Pye w**d, and Michigan lily, the landscape is beginning to take shape in exciting ways.

Over the past few months, we completed the greenhouse, welcomed a new Lead Gardener, held community planting days, planned new garden spaces, and celebrated the official grand opening of the Kenhtè:ke Language and Cultural Centre.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shared their time, energy, and care with this project so far. We're grateful to be part of this work and look forward to seeing the land continue to grow and flourish in the seasons ahead. 💚

☀🌳 Spend a slow summer morning outdoors and mark the turning of the season with a guided forest bathing experience at Wintergreen Studios.

Certified Forest Bathing Guide Cherianne Cybulskie will lead a gentle, guided forest bathing experience designed to help you slow down and reconnect with nature through your senses. Rather than hiking a distance or reaching a destination, forest bathing invites you to wander at an easy pace, engaging with the forest through sight, sound, touch, and curiosity. Along the way, participants are offered simple invitations for exploration, with optional moments to share reflections in a relaxed and supportive group setting.

The experience concludes with us gathering at the Lodge for a delicious seasonal lunch prepared in the Wintergreen Studios kitchen.

Whether you’re looking to try something new, spend intentional time outdoors, or gather in community to honour the Summer Solstice, this morning offers a welcoming space to arrive just as you are.

Fiercely OK is extremely excited to welcome Luke Wallace to Kingston for an inspiring afternoon of collective singing and harmony. 🌎

Luke is a dynamic force in the world of folk music, using his talent as a songwriter, speaker, and choral arranger to champion environmental causes and inspire positive change. Hailing from the Coast Salish Territory known as Vancouver, Canada, Luke has been on a decade-long journey of touring, recording, and organising for the betterment of people and the planet.

In 2023, Luke took the global stage as a featured performer at the United Nations Water Conference, the first of its kind in a generation. With hundreds of concerts across North America under his belt, Luke has become a sought-after voice in the fight against climate change, spreading a message of hope and action through his music.

If you’re in need of connection and inspiration as we find our way through these trying times, this event is for you! This workshop is great for experienced and brand-new singers and will be full of songs about Justice, Ecology and People Power.

This is a participatory workshop. Come prepared to sing!
