Are you ready for a high-tech adventure? Join us at Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre for a day of geocaching! You'll learn how to use our GPS devices and use them to discover hidden "caches", solve a puzzle, earn a solid prize, and learn a little about local wildlife ecology along the way!

If you're up for a serious challenge, once you've mastered the GPS device and solved our first puzzle, you can head out on our trail system and see how many of the 10 registered geocaches you can find. What a fun way to spend a PA Day!

This event is free but registration is required. Visit our events page at https://elbowlakecentre.ca/events/ to learn more and to register.

You are invited to join us at Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre to learn all about our “favourite” invasive species in this area – TICKS! Although ticks are dormant in the winter, our awareness of tick safety never stops! On this fun activity day, we will learn about why the winter season is essential to the tick life cycle and will take an educational hike to identify climate change impacts to our winters and how this affects tick biology. You’ll come away with tools and techniques to protect yourself and your pets during your next outdoor adventure.

This event is free but registration is required. Visit our Events Page for more information about this and other upcoming public events. https://elbowlakecentre.ca/events/
