Inspired by artists like Andy Goldsworthy and Chris Drury, work with your family to create a beautiful piece of ephemeral nature art at Elbow Lake. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy, and then join us for a hike along the Red Trail after lunch to take in the beauty of Elbow Lake in the fall. This event is free but registration is required. Although this week's Family Night event is already sold out, we wanted to highlight and celebrate our Marsh Monsters program! This Thursday, lucky families who have already registered will get to try their hands at limnology, sampling plankton from our wetland and examining these amazing microscopic creatures under the microscope!

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to ; we were awarded their Lake Ecosystem Grant in 2025 and used the money to purchase 9 new microscopes for our aquatics lab... making programs like Marsh Monsters more accessible to all. So thank you!
