Eastern Kings Health Foundation

With the help of our donors, the Eastern Kings Health Foundation has been able to support & improve health care in the communities of eastern PEI.

The Eastern Kings Health Foundation Inc. is a registered charitable organization that raises funds to support medical equipment and resources for health services in the Eastern Kings area of Prince Edward Island. The Foundation is unique in that it not only provides support to Souris Hospital, but also supports Colville Manor, Mental Health and Addictions , Home Care and Public Health. Governed by

a volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation is committed to fundraising, collecting and directing dollars to improve and maintain the health of the citizens in eastern PEI. The provincial government provides only a small amount of the funding for the medical equipment that makes it possible to have excellent health care in Eastern PEI. Donors just like you can help bridge the gap by supporting the purchase of an item from the equipment wish list. Your donation today will help our hospital, long-term care facility and health services in Eastern Kings purchase equipment and materials that will make a critical difference in the life of every patient, client and resident receiving care. It was a pleasure speaking with our community's own Alyson MacCormack, a first year medical student at UPEI, during her placement in Souris last week! Great to see such a bright young person like Alyson able to study medicine on the Island and hopefully one day practice here too. Keep up the good work, Alyson!

Alvin Keenan, left, presented Kim LeBlanc and Craig Norton of the Eastern Kings Health Foundation with a $500 donation on behalf of the Saint Andrews and St George's Masonic Lodge #4 recently. The lodge makes an annual donation to the EKHF.
